Set directly on the Mediterranean coastline in Oroklini, near Larnaca, Galu Seaside is a contemporary seaside venue created for stylish destination weddings in Cyprus. The combination of uninterrupted sea views, modern surroundings and a relaxed atmosphere makes it a beautiful choice for couples who want the Mediterranean to be part of the entire celebration rather than simply the backdrop for their ceremony.

One of Galu's biggest advantages is the ability to host the different parts of your wedding in one location. The venue can accommodate the ceremony, welcome drinks and canapés, wedding dinner and evening reception, allowing the day to flow naturally without guests having to travel between different locations.

The venue offers both indoor and outdoor deck spaces, making it suitable for weddings throughout the year, and can accommodate celebrations of up to 600 guests. The current minimum is 75 adults.

There are several different ceremony layouts directly overlooking the Mediterranean, followed by open-air reception arrangements under extensive fairy lighting. This gives couples plenty of scope to create anything from a clean, contemporary white wedding to a warmer Mediterranean-style celebration.

Food is a significant part of the Galu experience. The venue's in-house chefs create Mediterranean-inspired menus using seasonal ingredients, with options ranging from generous buffets to live cooking stations. The current wedding menu includes welcome canapés and rosé Prosecco, an extensive selection of salads and seafood, main dishes, carvery and sushi stations, followed by a generous dessert selection and ice cream cart.
An unlimited open bar is also included in the menu, with cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks, coffee and tea.

 

Galu includes considerably more than simply the food and use of the venue. Couples can choose from several styles of chairs and charger plates, and the package also includes white tablecloths and napkins, a 5m x 8m dance floor and a choice of fairy-light installations above the reception area. The current package also includes an ice cream cart, Moët Champagne for the couple for the cake cutting, live electric violin during dinner and six floor fireworks for the first dance.
